âAs You Like Itâ tells the story of Rosalind, who falls in love with Orlando but must flee persecution in her uncleâs court. Disguised as a boy, she escapes with her cousin, Celia, and the jester, Touchstone, seeking safety and love in the Forest of Arden.

Directed by Flordelino Lagundino, 91¿ì²¥ visiting assistant professor of theatre arts, 91¿ì²¥ Productionsâ adaptation of Shakespeareâs classic comedy features a unique twist that will look familiar to the audience.
âI wanted to create an experience for the 91¿ì²¥ actors in which they are able to see themselves directly in the place where the play is set,â said Lagundino, who also serves  as the producing artistic director of Theatre Alaska in Juneau. âBecause of that, the set design is representative of present-day Iowa.â
Featuring Caitlin Potter as Rosalind and Tanner Tillotson as Orlando, âAs You Like Itâ promises to be an engaging experience for theatregoers.
âAs a director, I am very interested in creating an event,â Lagundino said. âFor me, that means energizing how an audience experiences the play. I want our guests to feel it. So when you come, youâll see that the actors will enter from the audience, and will go into various seating areas. There are moments when the sound will completely fill the theater.â
